The Crew Academy’s IAMI GUEST accredited Command and Senior Leadership (CSL) course is a transformational program designed to provide you with a deep understanding of leadership, professional development, and organisational cultures.
In maritime training the focus is often on operations, but the greatest challenges usually lie in the interpersonal dynamics between crew and leaders.
The CSL is designed to equip senior leaders with the tools to navigate these complexities, build effective cultures, support psychological wellbeing and foster continuous personal growth.
In collaboration with a mixture of interactive masterclasses, self-study and guest lectures from expert speakers within the yachting, defence, and corporate sectors, delivered in a secure, inclusive environment. As part of the program, you will receive individual psychometric assessments and personalised coaching to maximise your performance and that of your team.
Course format is delivered over 10 weeks, entirely online via the kelp platform and 2 live zoom sessions per week, from 5-7pm (UK time).
You will also receive keynote lectures by globally-recognised leaders in their fields, plus additional self-study to complete in your own time.
Flexible format allows you to pause and rejoin future cohorts if your availability changes.

“Military vs yachting as many might ask, it’s no different, it’s all about looking after your people. Many words here that keep repeating, build on success, influence, empowering, listening, safe space, appreciation, and positivity. It’s about change to improve people’s mentality to serve them better, fantastic.”
Simon Jones - Yacht Captain - 140m Yacht
“I think the course is certainly going to make waves and in a way that will be required for the industry”.
