The departure time for the bus was communicated both in writing and verbally on multiple occasions to ensure clarity for all participants. On the day in question, 8 other students arrived on time, and the bus departed as scheduled to allow the group to complete the course successfully. Unfortunately, as you and another student from the same crew house arrived an hour after the bus had left, we were unable to accommodate a late arrival without disrupting the entire class.

While we empathize with your disappointment, adhering to the schedule is essential to ensure all participants can complete their training. As with other time-sensitive services, such as flights, it is important to plan accordingly to avoid missing scheduled departures.

We appreciate your suggestions and worked to offer a solution that would allow you to complete the final day of firefighting. We are sorry that the proposed solution did not meet your expectations, but the additional fee reflects the cost of providing the course again outside the originally scheduled training.
