Established in 2010, we cater for everyone, whether you’re a complete beginner and unsure if you even like sailing and just want to book onto a 2 and a half hour sailing trip around Dublin Bay or whether you want to become a professional yacht skipper, Irish Offshore Sailing has a sailing course to suit.

Learn to sail in comfort, all our practical sailing courses are run on our two identical 37 foot yachts “Desert Star” and “Sherkin” both 2002 Jeanneau Sunfast 37s which are based in Dun Laoghaire Marina, Dublin, Ireland. Our shorebased courses in Navigation (Dayskipper and Yachtmaster Offshore) and VHF radio, are run in a comfortable classroom at theRoyal St. George Yacht Club. Our sailing school operates throughout the year, helped by a powerful diesel heater, designed to keep you toasty warm even on the coldest winter days.
