The CEO is the highest rank director in any company. The CEO is responsible for creating a healthy company culture, making decisions that can impact the overall running of the company and effectively plan, manage and distribute the resources. The CEO is expected to have good relationship building skills and liaise with different bodies such as the IMO, RYA and the MCA. The Chairman is expected to maintain a strong and respectful figure as they represent the company culture. The CEO has the final say on any decisions however, it is important that the CEO consults with the Board of Directors before exercising the right to make any decision.
