Chief Engineer – 60m M/Y (Private/Charter) – Start Mid/End March

We are currently seeking a hands-on Chief Engineer to join a 58m Motor Yacht starting around the end of March

Program Overview

Rotation / Contract

• ⁠No rotation ⁠
• Open to discussing a repeat 2-month contract arrangement as a regular schedule
• Good Salary DOE
• Own Cabin

•⁠  ⁠March: Florida (Shipyard)

•⁠  ⁠April : Florida (Shipyard)

•⁠  ⁠May : Florida/Prepare for New England Summer

Requirements

•⁠  ⁠C/E (MN) III/3 or III/2 (Y2)

•⁠  ⁠Previous experience with Caterpillar (3516c -Mains, C7.1 Gens) beneficial

•⁠  ⁠Strong hands-on capability and willingness to work closely with the Second Engineer

•⁠  ⁠Professional, mature attitude — no drama queens!

Essential Qualifications

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)

• ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)
• STCW 95 (STCW 2010)

Engineering Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• RIII/2 Y1 Chief Engineer (<3000gt <9000kW)/ Chief Engineer (SV) (<3000gt <9000kW)
• RIII/2 Chief Engineer (Unlimited)/ Class 1
