This is a private/charter vessel which is has been listed for sale for the past year.
We are seeking a Chief Stew with at least one full season of experience on a charter vessel, or an experienced 2nd stew on larger charter vessels looking to step up. The ideal candidate will have experience with proven longevity and leadership skills, ideally having managed a team of 5 or more.
As Chief Stewardess, you will be responsible for leading, training, and supporting the interior team, while also having the freedom to establish your own structure and systems.
Key responsibilities include:
Work closely with the captain
Managing budgets and interior accounts
Creating and maintaining inventories (crockery, glassware, storage, etc.)
Overseeing uniform inventory and orders
Directing and developing the interior team
This is a hands-on and demanding position, well-suited to someone eager to step up, take ownership, and implement their own systems. There will be significant ordering, maintenance, and organization required in preparation for the upcoming med season
