Summary
We're looking for a Chief Engineer with at least 5 years’ experience as Chief on vessels 60m+ with a minimum Y2 in hand or equivalent merchant license. Proven track record in longevity, well versed in managing full engineering department, planned maintenance systems (IDEA onboard), spare parts management, refits and budget control. Someone who likes to be hands on and lead by example, skilled in engineering crew management, training, contractor supervision, and vendor relationships.
Strong technical skills across propulsion, electrical, HVAC, watermakers, stabilizers, generators, and automation systems. Experienced in fault diagnosis and emergency response.
The candidate needs to be fluent in english and available to join from mid March.
