This lovely family are currently looking for a permanent residential nanny to help support the mother in caring for her son (born December 2023)
The family are looking for a confident, proactive, flexible, professional, good-natured nanny who has a good understanding and experience of working with children of a similar age. The role is a mix of shared care and sole charge and the nanny should be aware of and respect professional boundaries. They should be well travelled as well as being organised, good at planning ahead and working on their own initiative.
The hours will generally be from 9am – 6/7pm 5 days per week with flexible days off. The family require a nanny who is flexible and happy to work some evenings / additional hours as required (for which overtime will be paid). The mother is very involved in her son’s life and so the nanny may not always be required for childcare duties. In this instance they will be required to ensure that all nursery duties are completed and be someone who is happy to ‘muck in’ when required to help with household errands etc.
The nanny accommodation will comprise of their own room and bathroom. Nursery duties include preparing fresh food for the little boy, doing his laundry, ironing and keeping the nursery and other play areas clean and tidy. The family also employ a Housekeeper. A nanny who loves to travel and spend time in Europe and the USA is essential. The family spend the summer, usually from July to the end of September in Europe (Paris/ South of France/ Italy) and are there again for around a month or two in the winter.
