Yacht Engineer – 12-Day Passage (Costa Rica to San Diego)
$450/day | Mid-March Start
We are seeking an experienced and professional Yacht Engineer to assist with engine room watches during an upcoming 12-day nonstop passage from Costa Rica to San Diego, CA.
You will be part of a three-engineer rotation, working alongside our Chief Engineer (in lead) and an additional experienced crewmember. This is a watch standing role requiring strong underway systems knowledge and the ability to operate confidently in a structured ER watch schedule.
Requirements:
- Y4 (or equivalent) with solid underway experience preferred
- B1/B2 visa required
- Valid STCW certification
- Fluent English speakers only
- Non-smokers only (including vaping)
- Zero alcohol consumption while aboard
We are not seeking to fly candidates long-distance for this role. Applicants should currently be located in the U.S., Canada, or Central America.
Compensation: $450/day (inclusive of travel days)
Anticipated start: Approximately March 16 (dates may adjust slightly)
This is a professional delivery-style passage, and we are looking for someone reliable, technically competent, and comfortable standing structured watches offshore.
