Summary
We are seeking a qualified Chief Engineer for a 45m motor yacht operating in the Mediterranean Sea, with a crew of 10. In this role, you will be responsible for the overall maintenance and operation of all engineering systems on board, ensuring the vessel’s safety and efficiency. Key responsibilities include managing repairs, conducting regular inspections, and overseeing the engineering team. You will also be tasked with maintaining compliance with maritime regulations and ensuring the proper functioning of all machinery. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in yacht engineering, excellent problem-solving skills, and a strong commitment to safety and quality standards. A valid engineering certification and familiarity with Mediterranean cruising are essential. This is a one-year contract position based in Italy.
