Position: Relief Senior Service Stewardess
(female due to cabin arrangements)
Yacht: 100m+ MY Private
Start Date: 1st April
Itinerary: potentially Indian Ocean, TBC
License: STCW, Seafarer's Medical, Food Hygiene L2, Advanced Management & Leadership Training. Valid Driving Licence is preferred
Job description: The chosen candidate will report to the Head Of Service & 2nd stewadress and be responsible for cleaning and food service. As well as assisting guests during emergency procedures, coaching and leading the team during absence of Head of Service & 2nd stew. Should be familiar in and able to coach team members in all areas of service (storage, inventory, provisioning, detailing, guest service, cigars, training & development & administration). We are looking for someone who can lead by example, motivate and inspire other team members.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3-5 years of land-based high-end hospitality experience, or with 2 to 3 seasons in yachting. Cruise ship experience is considered an advantage
- Proven experience leading and coaching junior crew
- Strong inventory management skills
- Strong housekeeping skills
- Experienced in silver service, buffet, plated service and room service
Key responsibilities:
- Responsible for cleaning and food service
- Assist guests during emergency procedures
- Support and train team members across service operations including stores, provisioning, detailing, guest service, cigars, training and development, and (minimal) administration
- Lead by example and motivate the team
Salary: 4,425 EUR consolidated leave Medical insurance provided through WYCC One return flight
