About the yacht

It is a 50m charter/private Motor Yacht based in Bahamas with 9 crew members.  

The project

We are looking for a chief engineer for a permanent position, starting as soon as possible. 

The program this season is to cruise in the Bahamas and New England

Desired profile

• English speaking is mandatory.
• At least a Y3 certificate is needed and valid STCW and ENG1. 
• B1B2 visa already in hand is compulsory.
• Previous experience in yachting as a Chief engineer or strong 2nd engineer ready to step up is compulsory.

Salary : 12 000$/month. 60 leave days per year

Essential Qualifications

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)

• STCW 95 (STCW 2010)
• ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)

Engineering Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• RIII/3 Y3 Chief Engineer (<500gt <3000kW)/ Chief Engineer (SV) (<500gt 3000kW)
