Summary

Looking for a Chief Engineer – Temporary Position - Can lead to Permanent

Private motor yacht (Owner use only) seeking an Engineer.

Details:

  • Temporary position
  • Owner use, In process to make the switch to charter for upcoming summer.
  • Florida - Bahamas itinerary
  • Salary: DOE (Depending on Experience)
  • U.S. Flagged vessel

Requirements:

  • U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder only - Please Don't apply if you don't have one of those.
  • Relevant marine engineering qualifications and experience
  • Strong mechanical, electrical, and systems troubleshooting skills
  • Experience on similar-size motor yachts preferred
  • Professional, self-sufficient, and safety-focused

We are currently finishing a shipyard period and are looking at getting back in Operation first week of March. The vessel will be based in Florida for 1-2 months before starting to charter in the Exumas for the summer season.

Essential Qualifications

Engineering Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)
  • MCA Approved Engine Course (AEC 1 & 2) Certificate
