Seeking an experienced, personable Chief Stewardess for a private, foreign flagged, 49m M/Y. Vessel is based in Fort Lauderdale for the most part with trips to the Bahamas.
Owners use the vessel roughly 15 weeks per year.
We are looking for longevity in the program and have enjoyed some long crew tenures over the years. This is the perfect situation for someone that wants to have a work/life balance.
You are able to live ashore or onboard.
We need the following in the ideal candidate:
- US. citizen or permanent resident -as the vessel is run by a US corporation-
- ENG-1.
- Food Hygiene certificate.
- Discharge book.
- Must be able to demonstrate a high standard of service.
- Consistency is important.
- Be able to manage guest interactions during trips while effectively handling behind-the-scenes tasks required both during trips and in guest-off periods. In other words, be a balanced chief stewardess.
- Apply charter-yacht service practices while maintaining the ethos of a private yacht.
- Start: February 25th
- Monthly salary $8,000 to $9,000 -DOE
- Annual bonus.
- Christmas bonus.
- Salary reviews annually in May.
- 38 days paid leave.
- Training time and funding after one year of service.
