Summary
Second Stewardess / Head of Housekeeping – 90m Sailing Yacht
We are seeking an experienced and confident Second Stewardess / Head of Housekeeping to join a 90m private sailing yacht currently completing a major shipyard refit and preparing for a Mediterranean summer season.
This is a senior interior role suited to someone who takes real pride in immaculate housekeeping standards while remaining service-minded and adaptable within a large-yacht environment. The position focuses on running all housekeeping operations to a very high standard, while also supporting service as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all housekeeping operations, ensuring the yacht is maintained to an exceptional standard at all times
- Set and uphold clear systems, routines, and attention to detail within housekeeping
- Assist with guest service, including meals, drinks, wine, and cocktail service
- Confidently work late shifts as part of the interior rotation
- Support interior team operations during guest trips and busy periods
- Maintain organisation, cleanliness, and presentation across all guest and crew areas
Requirements
- Several years’ experience in a similar Second Stew / HOH role on large yachts
- Strong housekeeping leadership skills with a proven eye for detail
- Confident with service, including wine, cocktails, and formal meal service
- Valid STCW & ENG1
- Food Hygiene Level 2
- WSET Level 2 is a bonus
