Chief Engineer – Private 70m+ Motor Yacht (Permanent)

Start: Immediate

Location: Mediterranean

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Chief Engineer to join a private 70m+ Motor Yacht on a permanent contract, with an immediate start.

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years’ experience as Chief Engineer on similar size yachts
• Y3 Certificate – mandatory
• Strong technical knowledge and proven leadership skills
• Fluent English with good communication abilities
• Professional, flexible, and team-oriented attitude

Position Details:

• Private yacht
• Permanent role, Mediterranean-based
• Due to additional crew onboard during winter works, the Chief Engineer will share a cabin with the 2nd Engineer every second month; private cabin provided during alternate months

Package:

• Salary: €6,500 per month, subject to experience
• Stable, long-term opportunity on a well-run vessel

Essential Qualifications

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)

• STCW 95 (STCW 2010)
• ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)
• Drivers License

Engineering Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• RIII/3 Y3 Chief Engineer (<500gt <3000kW)/ Chief Engineer (SV) (<500gt 3000kW)
