Sole Engineer

Summary

A 50m dual season private & charter yacht is looking for a Sole Engineer to join them in the US.

• Recently sold vessel completing surveys & recommissioning after US$4m engineering refit
• Hands-on role requiring strong troubleshooting and maintenance skills, with sole responsibility of all engineering systems onboard
• Must be happy to assist deck team when needed
• Y3 minimum or equivalent required & CAT engine experience would be preferred
• Offering a salary of US$11,000+ p/m DOE with 60 days leave
• Valid B1/B2 visa & Schengen required
• Shared cabin with Bosun
• Immediate start in the US

Essential Qualifications

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)

• ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)
• Drivers License
• STCW 95 (STCW 2010)

Engineering Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• RIII/3 Y3 Chief Engineer (<500gt <3000kW)/ Chief Engineer (SV) (<500gt 3000kW)
