2nd Engineer in Italy

Summary

We are seeking a skilled 2nd Engineer to join our team aboard a 55-meter motor yacht.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Chief Engineer in maintaining all technical systems onboard, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of machinery and equipment.

During summer season 2nd Eng is working / assisting on deck - if any issues with this please don't apply.

Ideal candidate will possess relevant engineering qualifications and experience in the yachting industry, along with a strong understanding of marine systems.

Candidates should demonstrate excellent teamwork and communication skills, as collaboration with a crew of 13 is essential.

This is not rotational position - 90 day leave

Salary on offer 6,000 Eur per month

Essential Qualifications

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)

• STCW 95 (STCW 2010)
• ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)

Engineering Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• RIII/3 Y4 Chief Engineer (<200gt <1500kW)/ EOOW III/1 (SV) (<3000gt <9000kW)
• RIII/1 Engineer Officer of the Watch (Unlimited)
