2nd Engineer in Italy

Summary

We are looking for a motivated and hands-on Temporary Second Engineer to join our team on a 40m motor yacht boat. The vessel is private with cruising planned withing Mediterranean waters.

You will need minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role, hold valid STCW, ENG1 and Chief Engineer Unlimited ticket or 2nd Engineer III/2.

This role is temporary until 31st March 2026 with EUR 6,000 per month.

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)

• STCW 95 (STCW 2010)
• ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)

Engineering Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• RIII/2 Y2 Chief Engineer (<3000gt <3000kW)/ Chief Engineer (SV) (<3000gt <9000kW)
• RIII/2 Y1 Chief Engineer (<3000gt <9000kW)/ Chief Engineer (SV) (<3000gt <9000kW)
• RIII/2 2nd Engineer (Unlimited)
• RIII/2 Chief Engineer (Unlimited)/ Class 1
• 2nd Engineer III/2 (SV) (<3000gt <9000kW)
• RIII/3 Y3 Chief Engineer (<500gt <3000kW)/ Chief Engineer (SV) (<500gt 3000kW)
