Summary

Great opportunity for an experienced Chief Stew to join a busy, private 57m+ vessel in the US.

We’re looking for a strong leader who is highly organised, hands-on, positive, and has a keen eye for detail, proven longevity and the ability to lead an interior team of 3 plus a Deck/Stew.

Due to a smaller team for a vessel of this size, this role requires a Chief Stew who isn’t afraid of hard work and still enjoys being involved in the day-to-day operations of the yacht. You’ll be front-facing with guests while also managing and supporting the team. Flexibility is essential, as plans can be loose and change quickly.

Lovely owners and a family-oriented vessel. Service is family-style, but the owners still expect exceptional standards from the interior team. They enjoy theme nights, beach parties, and onboard events, so a Chief Stew who loves organising these and bringing a fun, creative touch will thrive in this role.

You will also be working closely with the Captain and maintaining clear, professional communication with the guests.

The ideal candidate will have 5–6 years industry experience, with at least 2–3 years as a Chief Stew on a similar-sized vessel. Someone who lives a clean, active lifestyle and is a true non-smoker will fit in well with the crew and interior team.

Cruising itinerary is Caribbean until May, followed by a Med season then a shipyard until early next year.

It is a busy program ahead with the opportunity for lots of downtime during the season changeover yard period.

B1B2 + Schengen/EU passport in hand.

Salary above industry standard and DOE.

90 days leave plus additional leave during the yard period if required.

Start date early March.
