Summary
Burgess Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Steward(ess) for a 70m motor yacht.
We are seeking a well-rounded, switched on, positive and proactive stewardess to join the wonderful interior team onboard. This is a great opportunity to join a family-orientated program with a great crew onboard.
Requirements:
· Minimum 2 years’ experience in similar role- with longevity
· STCW, PSA/PDSD, FH Level 2, ENG1 essential. Interior courses completed are looked upon highly.
· Proficient in all aspects of interior work with excellent attention to detail and developed time management skills.
· Comfortable and professional in guest interactions as this can be at times a guest-facing role.
· Immense attention to detail is vital, especially in housekeeping. Product knowledge, wardrobe management, and general skills in basic administrative tasks are required. Laundry skills and experience will add further value.
· Extra skills such as Hair styling, Nails, Makeup, Floristry etc. – highly beneficial
The Position:
· Predominantly House Keeping, with service so must be comfortable with guest interactions.
· Duties will involve supporting the team in all aspects of the interior
· Assist with inventories & interior projects with oversight from the Chief Stew
· Potential for interior promotion if opportunities arise. Vessel aims to promote from within and maintain longevity in crew.
Start date: First week of February
Location: USA
Salary: EUR 3200-3500 DOE
Leave: 3:1 rotation
Vessel Program and itinerary: Private, dual season vessel, family-orientated
