Summary
We are seeking a chief engineer for a 46m private sailing yacht based in Spain, offering a rotational position with a worldwide cruising itinerary. As the sole engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance and operation of the vessel's systems, necessitating a self-motivated and organized individual with a robust sailing background and experience with smaller boats. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set, demonstrating confidence in various engineering tasks, and have aspirations to progress to larger yachts while obtaining relevant engineering certifications. Strong interpersonal skills are essential, as the role involves engaging with guests during social activities while maintaining a professional focus on responsibilities. Accommodations include a shared cabin, and while the position is male DTCA, we are open to discussions for the right candidate.
