We are seeking a Chief Engineer for this prestigious 60m Private Motor Yacht, currently based in Europe. This is a Permanent and Rotational role.
We are recruiting for a Permanent Rotational Chief Engineer for a 60m Private Motor Yacht currently based in Europe and cruising to the Middle east for a couple months before returning to the Med. This role offers a unique opportunity to join a well-maintained vessel operated by a highly professional team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the engineering department, ensuring the vessel's optimal performance, safety, and maintenance during their rotational periods. The successful applicant will bring hands-on experience, a proactive approach to engineering management, and a strong commitment to excellence, aligning with the company's high standards. This role is open to a 2nd Engineer holding a 2nd Engineer unlimited ticket, the vessel would be open to candidates coming from the commercial sector and with a couple of seasons in the Yachting sector.
Start date: Mid February 2026
Candidate requirements:
- Must hold a Chief Engineer Y1 or 2nd Engineer unlimited license
- Valid STCW and ENG1
- Experience as a Second Engineer on larger vessels or as a Chief Engineer on similar-sized yachts
- Previous yacht experience is essential
- Healthy, non-smoker with a positive attitude
- Excellent command of English communication skills
Package:
- Salary €9,500
- Full rotation (10/10)

- Bonus, starting after 12 months, with increases over subsequent years
