About the Vessel
35m AMSA Domestic Commercial Vessel offering exclusive private day and term charters, with a strong focus as a mothership during Heavy Tackle Marlin season.
Powered by twin Caterpillar C32s with Cummins Onan generators, the vessel delivers commercial-grade reliability, excellent range, very well maintained with a recent refit and ongoing major upgrades.
About the Role
We’re looking for a capable, hands-on Engineer to take ownership of the engineering department and play an integral role in a very exciting private and charter program. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fun, positive, tight-knit crew, backed by incredible owners and strong onshore support.
You’ll be proactive and confident in managing preventative maintenance systems, troubleshooting, and keeping everything running smoothly. Just as important, you’ll take ultimate pride in your role, be a team player who’s happy to jump in where needed and contribute to a positive onboard culture.
A flexible start date is available, along with a thorough and supportive handover to ensure a smooth transition into an impressively well-maintained department.

Requirements
- AMSA Marine Engine Driver Grade 1 (NC) qualification
Considered for the right candidate:
- A very strong AMSA MED 2 ready to step up
- MCA Y4 equivalent qualification
- CoST / STCW qualification
- Current Seafarer’s Medical
- Right to work in Australia
- Solid, proven experience and strong references are essential
