Chief Stewardess – 55m+ Motor Yacht
We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Chief Stewardess to join a 55m+ Motor Yacht based in Turkey, with an upcoming substantial shipyard refit.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Chief Stew who enjoys both operational leadership and the structure of a refit environment, and who can set high standards for interior operations ahead of the yacht’s next cruising phase.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all interior operations, maintaining exceptional service standards
- Lead, train, and mentor the interior team through refit and operational phases
- Plan and manage interior involvement during the shipyard period, including inventory, setup, and coordination with contractors
- Develop and implement interior SOPs and service procedures
- Manage budgets, provisioning, uniforms, silverware, tableware, and interior maintenance
- Liaise closely with the Captain, Chief Engineer, and shipyard teams
- Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and maritime regulations
Requirements
- Proven experience as Chief Stewardess on 50m+ motor yachts
- Strong leadership, organisation, and communication skills
- Previous shipyard/refit experience highly desirable
- Excellent knowledge of high-end service, housekeeping, and guest experience
- Calm, solutions-focused approach and strong attention to detail
- STCW, ENG1, and valid visa/work eligibility as required
