Summary
We are seeking an experienced 2nd Stewardess to join an 85m motor yacht currently transitioning towards a charter program. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being hands-on, helping establish practical systems, and supporting a team as the vessel continues to develop.
The yacht operates with a total crew of 21, including an interior team of 7: Chief Stew/Purser, 2nd Stew, 3rd Stew/HOH, Spa Stew, 2 x Stews, and a Laundry Master.
Current plans: UAE, Indian Ocean, MYBA (April), Mediterranean charter season
The successful candidate will work closely with the Chief Stew/Purser, assisting with the day-to-day organisation of the interior. Responsibilities will include creating and managing daily worklists, prioritising tasks, managing inventories and provisioning, and help with introducing clear systems and checklists to improve efficiency onboard. The role will also involve leading service when required, liaising with the galley, contributing to theme nights and the overall charter 'experience', supporting junior crew through training and approachable, fair leadership. This is a senior position, leading a team of 7 with the support of Chief Stew/Purser.
Requirements:
- MUST HAVE experience as 2nd Stew on 60m+ or Chief Stew on 50m+
- Minimum 3 years yachting experience
- Good longevity in previous roles (1 year+)
- Charter experience preferred
- WSET Level 2
- Confident service and mixology skills
