Summary

Chief Engineer – 60m M/Y (Private/Charter) – Start Mid/End January.


We are currently seeking a hands-on Chief Engineer to join a 58m Motor Yacht starting around the middle/end of January


Program Overview

The yacht is currently heavily for sale, with owners transitioning to larger vessels. There may be future opportunities to remain within the fleet depending on circumstances.


Rotation / Contract

  • ⁠No rotation ⁠
  • Open to discussing a repeat 2-month contract arrangement as a regular schedule
  • Salary DOE but Good.
  • Own Cabin



Cruising Plans

•⁠  ⁠January: St. Maarten (standing by for charter inquiries)

•⁠  ⁠February: Caribbean / gradually heading toward Florida & Bahamas

•⁠  ⁠March: Florida (planned 15,000-hour CAT engine overhaul)


Requirements

•⁠  ⁠C/E (MN) III/3 or III/2 (Y2)

•⁠  ⁠Previous experience with Caterpillar (3516c -Mains, C7.1 Gens) beneficial

•⁠  ⁠Strong hands-on capability and willingness to work closely with the Second Engineer

•⁠  ⁠Professional, mature attitude — no drama queens!

  • RIII/2 Y2 Chief Engineer (<3000gt <3000kW)/ Chief Engineer (SV) (<3000gt <9000kW)
  • RIII/2 2nd Engineer (Unlimited)
