Chief Engineer in Thailand

Summary

Sole chief engineer on a 40 meter older private motor yacht. The vessel mostly cruises in Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia and Malaysia.

We need a motivated self starter with great practical skills, a can do attitude and a sense of responsibility. The vessel is not overly complicated but requires TLC,

Crew medical, 30 days leave, $8500.00 PM DOE, own cabin are included.

CAT mains and Generators.

9 Crew are Australian, SA, Thai.

Unfortunately, this is NOT a rotational position.

Essential Qualifications

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)

• STCW 95 (STCW 2010)
• ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)

Engineering Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• RIII/3 Y4 Chief Engineer (<200gt <1500kW)/ EOOW III/1 (SV) (<3000gt <9000kW)
