Temp 2^nd Engineer – Private/Charter 40m M/Y 

Candidates currently in Europe only please

We are currently seeking a very-hands on Engineer to assist throughout a large yard re-fit period, with an immediate start.

Start date: Immediately and for approximately 5 months

Itinerary: Western Med - Yard Period/Refit

Salary: Competitive salary paid in Euros- DOE - inclusive of leave

Experience/Attributes Required:

• Minimum 2 years' experience as Second Engineer on 50m+ M/Y
• Hands-on, proactive, and team-oriented
• Strong mechanical and electrical skills – with a strong trades background
• Previous yard / refit experience would be highly favourable
• Fluent English (spoken and written) plus French speaking would be very helpful
• Positive and adaptable character with the ability to work well with external contractors

Qualifications Required:

• Minimum AEC 1&2 – higher would be advantageous  
• STCW (Fully updated) with PSA/PDSD
• Seafarer’s Medical Certificate

• STCW 95 (STCW 2010)
• ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)
• Drivers License

Engineering Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• MCA Approved Engine Course (AEC 1 & 2) Certificate
