Looking for a motivated, hands-on engineer to join a high-tech, well-documented 2020 vessel. The yacht runs with a solid budget, clear processes, and the current Captain was onboard for the build so he is very familiar and helpful. Current Engineer is leaving after 2+ years onboard to pursue a land based opportunity.
Role Overview
- Preventative maintenance, troubleshooting
- Accurate logging and upkeep of the maintenance system
- Inventory tracking and organization
- Assist with bridge watches
- Support guest operations and long passages
Suited for an up-and-coming engineer ready to step into more responsibility.
Requirements
- Practical engineering experience with strong follow-through
- Solid computer skills: Word & Excel required
- B1/B2
- Professional presentation and high standards
- Confident, motivated, and serious about progressing in the industry
Package
- $7,000+/month DOE, with increase after 90 days
- 44 days leave
- 2 annual flights (combined cap $2,750)
