Summary
This is a senior service-focused role requiring a strong background in fine dining, silver service, and high-end guest experience. The owner has a strong passion for wine, so WSET Level 2 minimum is essential. Experience on vessels of similar size is required.
The Chief Stew operates on a flexible rotational schedule, therefore this role demands proven leadership, administrative, and management skills. You will be responsible for running the interior team in the Chief Stew’s absence, including crew management, service standards, accounts, and interior administration. You must be confident guiding and mentoring junior stews and be fully proficient across all interior departments.
Requirements:
- British Passport (UK nationals as per owners request)
- Drivers lisence
- All certification valid for at least six months from the start date.
- Background in silver service and high end hospitality management
- WSET 2
- Experience with accounts, admin and interior management
- Cocktail and mixology
- Experience with attention to detail private programs with specific owner preferences
- Confident leading a team of 4
On Offer:

Candidate will join the vessel in Italy early/mid-Feb
This role would suit a candidate who has previously been a Chief Stew on 50–55m private yachts, or a senior service stew on larger vessels, with a passion for exceptional service and world travel.
