Summary
Good day!
We are seeking a strong Second Steward/ess for a private and charter program operating between The Bahamas and New England.
This role is interior-focused, working closely with and supporting the Chief Stew, especially during charters. Strong service skills, attention to detail, and a solid hospitality mindset are essential.
Outside of charter periods, the Second Steward/ess should be willing and able to assist on deck when needed, helping the team as required. This is not a full deck role, but flexibility and a team-player attitude are important.
We are open to candidates with a strong hospitality background who are eager to transition into yachting—provided they understand their role, respect boundaries, and follow the chain of command.
Preference will be given to candidates currently located in the U.S. or The Bahamas.
Big plus if you:
- Can assist on deck when required
- Are comfortable helping with lines, fenders, or jumping in/out as needed
- Have tender experience (not required, but an advantage)
The Mate assists with docking, and the Captain is happy to train the right candidate who shows motivation and a desire to grow.
We already have Christmas and New Year charters booked in The Bahamas, with additional charter inquiries in progress.
