A private family in Columbia, Missouri is seeking a highly organized, polished, and detail-driven Full-Time Housekeeper/ Household Organizer for their 20,000 sq. ft. residence. This is a live-out, long-term role offering stability, a positive work environment, and a relocation package for the right candidate.
This position is an excellent fit for former yacht crew or ex-stewardesses who are accustomed to high standards, structured routines, and meticulous organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain exceptional cleanliness throughout a large, luxury 20,000 sq. ft. home
- Daily cleaning, dusting, care of fine surfaces, and detailed upkeep
- Advanced organization projects: closets, pantries, cabinets, storage areas, seasonal rotations
- Inventory management: tracking supplies, restocking, maintaining household systems
- Laundry care including ironing, fabric care, and wardrobe maintenance
- Receiving deliveries, coordinating with vendors, and supporting household logistics
- Maintaining discretion, professionalism, and a calm presence at all times
- Assisting Female principal when in residence with daily tasks
Qualifications
- Experience in private homes or luxury service settings (yachting, estates, high-end hospitality)
- High level of organization, ability to create systems and maintain structure
- Sophisticated, polished presentation and excellent communication skills
- Strong understanding of fine finishes, textiles, and appropriate cleaning methods
- Ability to work independently with proactive mindset
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Must be comfortable working in a large property with a mix of daily, weekly, and rotational tasks
Schedule & Compensation
- Full-time, Monday–Friday (with occasional flexibility if needed)
- Live-out role
