The right candidate must have experience as a Chief Stew on a similar size charter vessel. The interior runs with three stews in total. The junior stew was promoted to 2nd Stew.
Candidate must be fit and active, well-presented, drama-free and at ease with a guest-facing role.
Fluent in English and an excellent communicator with a professional and positive outlook, who leads her team with kindness.
This is not a behind the desk position. It is an active role so needs someone who can work at a good pace.
The outgoing Chief Stewardess onboard has history, longevity and great systems in place, so it would be a case of stepping into a well-oiled machine. A good handover will be given then the new Chief Stewardess will hit the ground running. Charters booked, so applicants MUST fit the experience profile described.
Must have excellent knowledge in all areas of service, and be able to train the team with confidence. These areas of expertise should, of course, stretch beyond food, and into Mixology, Wine, Coffee service, Cigar service, etc.
The candidate should have an interest and thorough comprehension of various cuisine types, and how to serve accordingly. Must be knowledgeable on how to run a meticulous superyacht interior, including having an in depth understanding on how to care for and maintain all surfaces/fabrics.
