Summary
We are looking for a kind, compassionate and hardworking American stew/carer/nurse or someone who has the correct visa/green card/documentation to work ashore to join our interior team! The owner is elderly and requires mobility assistance and daily personal care needs.
Candidates should be comfortable with these duties. Experience in this role is ideal however not required as long as candidates are willing to be trained. They will be working alongside the full-time nurse whilst on the vessel and another carer when at the owners residence.
This is a yacht-based position however as we have a short, one-off, 6-week yard period coming up in March, this candidate would be required to work at the owner's residence nearby to the vessel .
This position is 70% Stew and 30% carer whilst working onboard the vessel but will turn into full time care whilst working at the residence for the short yard period.
Based in Florida for the winter with trips to the Bahamas and cruising the East Coast of the United States for the summers.
Start date is the 21st of December
Leave is 90 days per year
