Summary
We are looking for an experienced Boat Builder with also marine mechanical experience (EU passport holders only) to join our boatyard in Solothurn, Switzerland. You will work directly on the water as part of a skilled, motivated team maintaining and restoring all types of boats. Key skills include GFK laminating, polishing and gelcoat repair, hull preparation and detailing, engine rigging and installation (Mercury, Yamaha, Volvo, etc.), mechanical troubleshooting, electrical and hydraulic system work, teak/wood repairs, and seasonal maintenance such as winterisation and service. Requirements: EU citizenship, fluent English or fluent German, at least three years of relevant marine or boatbuilding experience, and an independent, precise, hands-on working style with a team-oriented mindset.
