Summary
We are seeking a dedicated 2nd Engineer for a 52m motor yacht based in the West Palm Beach. Initially for approx. 1 month. Must commit to Christmas and NYE trips.
Can be live-aboard or shore-based. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Chief Engineer in the maintenance and operation of all engineering systems onboard, ensuring safety and compliance with maritime regulations.
Key responsibilities include conducting routine inspections, managing repairs, and overseeing machinery operations while maintaining documentation and logs.
The ideal candidate will possess relevant engineering qualifications and experience in marine engineering, along with a strong understanding of yacht systems and safety protocols.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential, as collaboration with the onboard crew is vital for efficient operations. This is a permanent position offering the opportunity to contribute to the vessel's technical performance while advancing your career in the marine industry.
Start Date: 15th December, 2025, possibly earlier.
Depending on circumstances (that are outside of applicants control) this position has a potential to become permanent.
