Permanent Chief Stewardess position onboard a Expedition Vessel
We are seeking an experienced Chief Stewardess to lead the interior team aboard a private/charter Expedition Vessel. The ideal candidate is a polished, confident leader with exceptional service standards, strong administrative capabilities, and the ability to manage and motivate a multi-level interior team. You will join the vessel in the USA after an extensive refit, assisting with final setup before heading to the Caribbean for the season.
Start Date: First week of December (USA)
Package: TBD
Leave: 60 days
Probation Period: 90 days
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and support a multi-level interior team
- Maintain impeccable service, housekeeping, and laundry standards
- Oversee all guest service operations with strong attention to detail
- Work closely with the Captain and Heads of Department to ensure smooth operations
- Uphold a positive, professional crew culture
Requirements
- 2–3 years of Chief Stewardess experience on 60m+ vessels
- High-level service knowledge (silver service, wine, cocktail service a bonus)
- Proven strong administrative and leadership skills
- Immaculate presentation and excellent communication skills
- Valid B1/B2 and Schengen visas
- Strong references and evidence of longevity
- Knowledge of PinPoint & Voly is beneficial
Qualifications Required
- Fully updated STCW
- Food & Hygiene Level 2
- Proficiency in Designated Security Duties
- Seafarer’s Medical Certificate (minimum 6 months remaining validity)
- Seaman’s Discharge Book
- WSET Level 2
- Purser certification is a bonus but not essential
