Posted 19th Nov 2025

Job ID #3601567

Summary

This is not a role to 'learn on the job' - requires someone who can jump in with little direction.

Non smoker required.

Looking for enthusiasm - someone who wants to work.

Must have current STCW and B1/B2 visa due to itinerary for US destinations. Yacht will head to Ft Lauderdale after the charters.

Looking for an enthusiastic 2nd Stewardess who can come up to speed quickly. At the time of hire, yacht may be going into an owners trip within a few days... the upside is they are wonderful and likely to be very low key.

The 2nd Stew will report to the Chief Stew. In the team is a Chief Stew and another Deck / Stew. On deck there's the Mate and a Deckhand. Occasionally you'll see the Engineer and Captain washing dishes when it's busy.

The 2nd Stew will liaise with owners and guests at times when the Chief Stew is on break. She may be required to coordinate meal times on board, drink service, cabin turnovers, uniform supplies, guest drinks, snacks and alcoholic beverages.

The 2nd Stew should demonstrate the capability to communicate effectively and resolve differences professionally. Holding a grudge or masking internal rage will be discovered...

You'll need to demonstrate "late" service, cocktail making & guest interaction experience necessary. As well as all round housekeeping, laundry & back of house knowledge. It is an “everything” position so will need to be comfortable to get on with things in all areas of the interior without too much supervision. Will be required to assist in guiding & training a junior deck/stew. Will be able to support the Chief Stew while still following instructions & taking direction. Time management & organisational skills necessary.

We track defects on board using PinPoint. A genuine interest in effecting repairs is required - simply reporting defects to the Engineer ("It's not my job") will not be seen as a team player.

Busy program with charters and private use. Caribbean and Bahamas present program. We don't sit at the dock and polish stuff or struggle to find things to do... we are busy. Please do not apply if you want a cushy dockside yacht - that's not us.

Please note the following requirements:

  • Non smoker required.
  • Current STCW and ENG 1 medical is required.
  • Must have current STCW and B1/B2 visa (or US) due to itinerary for US destinations. Due to a recent fleet guidance memo regarding hiring crew, non US resident / citizen applicants must not be located within a US territory at the time of signing an SEA.
