Summary
We are seeking an experienced Engineer to join a 38m classic sailing yacht currently based in Trani, Italy, with a cruising itinerary throughout the Mediterranean Sea. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and operation of the yacht's engineering systems and will also assist on deck as needed. This role requires a proactive individual who can independently manage the engineering department and liaise effectively with local mechanics and specialists. Candidates should possess solid engineering skills, relevant certifications including Basic Safety Training STCW and AEC 1+2, and be medically fit for duty. While proficiency in Italian and a nautical license are advantageous, they are not mandatory. This permanent position offers a competitive salary, with leave entitlements of 30 days, and is available for immediate start.
