Summary
We are looking for a qualified 2nd Engineer for a temporary position on a 73m motor yacht of Northern European build based in Antigua & Barbuda, with a cruising itinerary in the Caribbean Sea. The successful candidate will assist the Chief Engineer in maintaining the vessel’s machinery and equipment, requiring a solid understanding of engineering systems. Applicants must hold an Engineering Officer of the Watch (EOOW) certification or equivalent, along with relevant experience on similar-sized yachts. This role involves intense daily responsibilities for a duration of 5 weeks, starting November 14th, with a competitive daily rate of up to $400 for exceptional candidates. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong technical skills, adaptability, and a focus on safety and teamwork, contributing to a crew of 21 professionals onboard.
