About the Role
As Purser, you’ll report directly to the captain and act as a vital link between the yacht, shore management, and crew.
You’ll take ownership of administrative, financial, and logistical operations onboard, ensuring smooth day-to-day running and full compliance across all departments.
This is a dynamic position that touches every part of the vessel’s operation from payroll and accounting to guest logistics and customs ideal for someone who enjoys both precision and variety in their work.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Captain with regulatory compliance, ISM documentation, and vessel administration.
Manage onboard financial systems, including purchasing, reporting, and budgeting.
Oversee payroll, rotations, crew certification, and onboarding/offboarding processes.
Coordinate crew and guest travel, embarkation, and disembarkation.
Handle customs, immigration, and port formalities with agents and local authorities.
Provide liaison between shore management, heads of department, and contractors.
Support the Interior Manager and Captain in guest logistics, concierge services, and charter accounting (APA management).
Collate and record charter feedback, assisting with event and charter planning as required.
Who You Are
2 years plus as a purser on a large motor yacht
Experienced in yacht administration and accounting (Purser or similar level).
Highly organised, discreet, and proactive.
Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
Calm under pressure with a flexible, can-do attitude.
Confident working independently and collaboratively with a large multinational crew.
Culturally aware, polished, and professional in presentation and demeanour.
