Summary
2ND STEW 65M PRIVATE MY
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced 2nd Stew to join a busy, dual-season private 65M yacht. The vessel is currently in Europe and will be crossing to the Caribbean for the winter season. The successful candidate can ideally join before 20th Nov to get familiar with the boat and crew before the crossing.
American owners who enjoy using their yacht with friends and family. The Captains foster a close-knit, family crew dynamic, with regular crew dinners and social events to encourage collaboration and team bonding.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service and Housekeeping: High attention to detail is essential, as the owners are particularly focused on immaculate housekeeping and laundry standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with an excellent Chief Stew who is kind, fair, and encourages a collaborative team atmosphere.
- Team Dynamics: Be part of an interior team of 5. The rest of the team rotate between service, housekeeping, and laundry.
Candidate Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years in the yachting industry, ideally with some experience as a 2nd Stew on 60m+ yachts or in a senior position on larger vessels. Strong in all areas; service, HK, laundry.
Package & Benefits:
- Salary: €5,000 pm
