Engineer – 40m Motor Yacht (Private & Charter)
We are seeking an experienced Engineer to join a 40m motor yacht currently based in Fort Lauderdale. The vessel will charter in the Bahamas through New Year, with the owner aboard January through mid-May.
This is a dual-season program with both private and charter use. The American owners maintain high standards and run a professional program averaging 10 weeks of charter per year and 17–18 weeks of owner use.
The yacht runs with 9 crew plus a fishing guide (Feb–May). Candidates must have proven engineering experience, ideally Y4/Y3 or documented AEC 1 & 2, all certificates up to date, English fluency, and the correct visa to enter the U.S. The role requires a hands-on, all-rounder approach, including occasional deck assistance.
CAT Generator / MAN engines and experience on Italian built vessel a huge plus
Start: Immediate (November 5th)
Location: Fort Lauderdale
Salary: Up to USD 10,500/month DOE
