2nd Engineer in Singapore

Summary

MYyachtcrew has started her search for a ROTATIONAL SECOND ENGINEER for a 55m private M/Y that was recently built.

Itinerary: World cruising and off the beaten track

Start date: ASAP

Requirements:

-STCW, ENG1, EOOW/Y3 

-Must have yacht experience 

-Looking for someone who is a good mix of hands on and able to communicate effectively to the chief engineers and contractors.

-Great at trouble shooting and problem solving. Hands on and knowledgeable 

-New Build experience an advantage.

-Must be willing to help out where ever needed as they all work as a team

-No smokers/vapers or heavy drinkers – fit and healthy crew culture onboard.

-Longevity is important and rewarded

Package:

-Salary DOE + discretionary bonus

-Economy flights to and from the boat

-Good crew medical in place + training package

Essential Qualifications

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)

• Drivers License
• STCW 95 (STCW 2010)
• ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)

Engineering Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• RIII/3 Y4 Chief Engineer (<200gt <1500kW)/ EOOW III/1 (SV) (<3000gt <9000kW)
• RIII/3 Y3 Chief Engineer (<500gt <3000kW)/ Chief Engineer (SV) (<500gt 3000kW)
