An exceptional opportunity has arisen to join a prestigious private household in Mayfair as part of a small, professional housekeeping team dedicated to maintaining the very highest standards of service.
✨ About the Role
Working within a fully staffed, four-storey residence, you’ll take pride in ensuring every corner of this stunning home is maintained to perfection. You’ll work closely with other housekeepers (a team of 4–5 in total) and a Head of Housekeeping, supporting a smooth-running, elegant household environment.
Occasional travel may be required, though this will be infrequent.
???? Key Responsibilities
- Daily cleaning and upkeep of all household areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, and formal spaces.
- Expert care of fine furnishings, antiques, marble, silver, and luxury fabrics.
- Laundry management, wardrobe organisation, and packing/unpacking for principals and guests.
- Managing cleaning supplies and liaising with contractors or suppliers when required.
- Providing support for table service and private events as needed.
- Reporting maintenance issues promptly and upholding impeccable standards of discretion and professionalism.
???? About You
- 3–5+ years of experience in a private UHNW residence or 5-star luxury hotel.
- Impeccable attention to detail and pride in presentation.
- Strong knowledge of specialist cleaning and laundry techniques for luxury materials.
- A discreet, trustworthy, and adaptable team player.
- Flexibility to work occasional weekends or adapt to household needs.
- European or UK candidates preferred with full right to work in the UK.
