An exciting opportunity has become available for a chief engineer looking for that elusive shore-based life, in a 5 day working week with very few overnight trips (home each night)
Outgoing chief engineer of many years will give a thorough handover and there is an excellent 2nd engineer in place for support
Position Particulars
Full Time position.
50m+ Private Motor Yacht – no charters.
Based in Sydney.
5 day working week, 2 days off. Working the weekends and public holidays generally worked (days given in lieu).
4 weeks annual leave.
Live onboard or Ashore.
Overnight watchkeeper (1 watch every 10 days).
Working rights for Australia – No visa holders as renewing visa’s is becoming difficult.
Applicants in Australia.
STCW 95, Medical Certificate, relevant previous experience and certification.
Engineering team of 2.
All the other usual yachting terms and conditions.
$170,000 plus super.
Company car provided for personal use.
