Summary
SECOND STEWARDESS POSITION AVAILABLE
A 50m dual-season private/charter yacht is seeking an experienced and confident Second Stewardess to join our interior team. The vessel is primarily private, completing around 8 weeks of charter per year, and runs with lovely American owners who are hands-on, friendly, and enjoy engaging with crew.
The yacht is US-based and will be heading to Mexico and Costa Rica towards the end of the year.
Position Overview
This is a predominantly guest-facing role, with a strong focus on service. The ideal candidate will be polished, personable, and confident interacting with guests, while maintaining the highest standards in presentation and detail. The owners are particular and notice everything — therefore, the right person must have a meticulous eye for detail, strong initiative, and the ability to uphold exceptional housekeeping standards as well.
As Chief Stew, my role is highly guest-facing, so I’m looking for a Second Stew I can fully rely on to manage back of house operations confidently when I’m busy or away. You’ll also play a key role in mentoring and guiding our Third Stew, who is still developing in both service and housekeeping.

- Fluent English with clear communication skills – due to guest interaction, Ideal nationalities include Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Canada and US
- Professional, positive, and mature attitude
- Must be a strong team player who fits into an active, healthy, and drama-free crew dynamic
- Strong cocktail knowledge
- Creativity is essential - wanting a 2nd who enjoys table scapes and theme nights just as much as I do.
Crew Culture
This is not a party boat – the crew are social, active, and enjoy spending downtime together doing activities like beach days, exploring, or working out. We have a great mix of nationalities and ages, with the majority of the interior and deck team in their late 20’s.

- Salary: $4500 - $5000 DOE
- Leave: 38 days per year
- Start Date: ASAP

Ideal Candidate
I’m looking for someone who truly takes initiative — a team player who’s driven, eager to learn, and hungry to grow within their role. I really value fresh ideas and collaboration, and I love working with people who want to develop and take ownership. Someone who can be trusted to maintain guest experience and interior standards seamlessly in my absence.
The more enthusiasm, effort, and curiosity you bring, the more I’m happy to teach and entrust you with. If you’re someone who thrives in a positive, supportive, and high-standard environment, this will be a great fit.
