A warm and welcoming family in Atherton, California is seeking an experienced and fluent Italian-speaking Nanny to join their household. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, youthful, and highly dynamic ultra-high-net-worth environment. Our returning clients are respected business professionals with strong connections in both California and Italy, and they are seeking a candidate who can bring discretion, professionalism, and positive energy into their home.
Duties:
·Safe, experienced driver to take children to school, activities, appointments, and playdates.
·Ability to assist with daily routines: preparing snacks, helping with bedtime, packing for school/travel, ensuring school bags are ready.
·Ability to support the children with homework and educational enrichment (for candidates who have tutoring/teaching experience).
·Able to help manage the family calendar relating to the children’s schedules and activities.
·Willingness to provide occasional evening coverage as needed.
·High level of discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism at all times.
·Willingness to assist with the children’s dogs: feeding, walking, and coordinating vet visits.
The family includes two adolescences, who will be the nanny’s primary focus, however there are also three teens (who primarily spend weekends with their mother.)
The home is fully staffed with a House Manager, another Nanny, Personal Assistant, and household/property staff, making teamwork and strong communication essential. The role offers accommodation on the premises and this is essentially a live in role.5 days per week (two consecutive days off; ideally Sunday & Monday or Monday & Tuesday).
Split-shift schedule: morning support, break during midday, resume in the afternoon until approx. 8:00 PM. Flexibility for travel and evening coverage is required. Salary range: $100,000 – $110,000 for entry-level nanny experience. Up to $130,000 – $140,000 for candidates with strong educational/tutoring background. Medical benefits provided. Two weeks paid vacation and one week paid sick leave. Accommodations and evening meals provided.
