Summary

We are seeking a Sole Engineer for a 30m motor yacht, commencing with a temporary position that may lead to a permanent role following a shipyard period.

The successful candidate will oversee all engineering aspects onboard, including maintenance and troubleshooting of systems, ensuring safe and efficient operations during winter maintenance in France.

This role demands a proactive problem-solver who can work independently.

Ideal candidates will have relevant engineering qualifications and proven experience in the marine industry, demonstrating reliability and professionalism.

Salary is offered based on experience. Shared accommodation.

Essential Qualifications

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)
  • STCW 95 (STCW 2010)
  • ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)
Engineering Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)
  • MCA Approved Engine Course (AEC 1 & 2) Certificate
